Women’s Circle is a series of painting that portray women states of domestic activity or repose. Each painting is about the routine of domestic life and evokes the calmness of home. Many of the paintings are embedded with collected papers and ephemera such as vintage stamps, sheet music, book pages, or old hand-written recipe cards. Painting women whether real or imagined has always been my passion. I love the flowing, graceful lines of a woman’s pose. Each woman has her own story giving the paintings a narrative feel.​
